After leaving later than I had hoped, only sleeping an hour and a half, getting lost in Kansas City for almost an hour because of road construction, pouring rain that turned the Kansas turnpike into an ice skating rink, snow showers that killed visibility, a bad accident that had I35 backed up for miles, and HAIL, I finally made it to Denton late last night (well, early this morning).

Hopefully house-hunting will go well with the realtor today. Wish me luck!

(then I get to go play at Kelli's house :main_thumbsup: )

I'm just hoping that the weather is a little better on the way back. I have to stop in Iowa to pick up my new AP racks (which is awesome because I drive right past them anyway and it saves me a 9 hour drive). I'm pretty sure the state of Iowa has a grudge against me, but that's another story.

Fortunately I had done a lot of research online before coming down, and the house I want is one of two "favorites" I had picked out. The other one I had really liked is pretty trashed and well, you can see why it has been on the market for 8 months.

Robin, I did take some pictures but I'll have to figure out how to get them uploaded on Kelli's computer. All of you are welcome to come visit once I get moved in. I'm thinking a house party for next year's NARBC is in order.

Jeremy - I will go take a shower in a few minutes, okay? Geeze, I must be worse than I thought if you can smell me all the way up in THE LAND OF THE COLD. ha ha
