My parents won't let me take my geckos to the vet because without meds the total was going to be 122.50......
I can't afford that on my own right now because I am paying off my dogs vet bill...and my parents have the attitude..it's a gecko Haley they are fine. Uh sorry you know nothing about geckos and no they aren't.
I'm taking them up to my work. It's the best I can hope for. They have some stuff for worms, mouth rot and eye problems. Hopefully they can help me.
I feel so awful. If I had known that my parents wouldn't let me take them to the vet or that the vet was going to cost so much and be so far away because the lady that is in my town that does reptiles in at home caring for sick family members. I would have rethought how I did things.
I'm going to make slurry for Lyn in hopes she'll eat but it's seriously weird. Hasn't eaten in a week. shows no interest in food but is all bloaty and hard and their is a black mass on her stomach as well as a white mass at the base. and her kidney? that blue spot is rather large. I feel so terrible. I want to save my leos but i can't. It's out of my power.
Pray that I can save them and take proper care of them.
I had wanted to get a male to breed, but now I know that would be irresponsible and stupid. I need to focus on what I have in front of me.
