I finally got my sand boa :)

Just fed the boa! It ate no problem! Although it squeezed the little pinkie so hard that its guts made a big mess. Yuck.

I was wondering, how docile is it? I've heard that they are very friendly. I love the fact that the males stay decently small and that they are able to be handled relatively easily.

I miss my sand boa. All the ones I've been around have had good temperaments. It's one of the great things about them.

Yes it is a Normal and a very nice one at that! Its also very easy to sexy them. Tail length. If the tail is very short to vent its a female. If its long it a male.

Sand Boas have a very good feeding response. All you really have to do is put the mouse right in front of their mug. They will take very quickly. To me they are one of the best feeding snake. Hardly ever have problems with mine.

Also just so you now. Females will get around 900 - 1000 grams and Males average no more then 200 grams at most!
