He's nothing special but I swear he has the personality of a saint.. All of my leopards ran away from me... (I'm exaggerating. ) But anyways he's adorable.. When he sits on my hand, or on the way home.. and I took him out last night.. he curls his tail around whatever he is holding on to. He's tiny also...

nice colors but looks a little skinny. I love fat tails they are so calm, but usally don't like worms don't know why.

He is very skinny! But he's a pig.. I put about 6 crickets in there last night.. and now I cannot find them ... I'm assuming he at them.

I find it a bit strange that a breeder would allow their geckos to get that skinny, especially if they were bringing them to a show. Makes me sad ):.

And don't feel bad, amels are pricey for most people! I lucked out and got mine really young so she wasn't too bad.

Maybe he is a wild caught? In the wild that is normally the way they look.

He's way too chill to be WC, I don't think she was a breeder of geckos, I think there was mostly snakes?

Most of the other ones had lost a tail.. it was quite odd...

Yes and even wild caught fat tails are normally really tame.

He might have a parasite, which will make it hard for him to put on weight even if he eats like a pig.

Here is a picture of a wild caught juvenile that was really calm and captive housed for around a year. Anyways I bought her from LLL Reptiles and she died a day after I got her. I was so disapointed, and lets just say they didnt do much cause they determined her healthy before shipping.

Does she look even close to healthy?
I was enraged to say the least.

Anyhow if he doesnt put on weight i would have a stool sample checked. Just to be safe.
