My sister's been at her friend's house for a couple days. I just got home after being at school the past three weeks. While she's been gone, three of our females laid. No one noticed, because she didn't tell anyone to check on them. The eggs are shriveled useless raisins now. I'm pissed.

One clutch came from a female I was so worried about. She was my baby who, through a design flaw in the dividing wall in her enclosure, was impregnated by a young horny male. :main_rolleyes: I was so worried because that was MONTHS ago and she hadn't laid. Turns out she did. It's just that no one noticed.

Ugh. Sorry guys..I just needed to vent.

Sorry to hear it. I know it sucks to count on someone and not have them do right by you. I've had those experiences too, and feel your pain. I hope she's more attentive for you in the future.

My suggestion to you is make it more moist so that the eggs would be ok for a few days.

Thanks for the advice. There's really only so much I can control from here :/ I've told her to make sure it's constantly moist. Ugh.

We discussed not breeding at all this season because I won't be there...but she seemed to be able to take care of them all on her own while I was there so I thought she could handle this. I'm having definite doubts now..
