Today while cleaning, I noticed a few eggs where laid. In one female’s cage I found this!!

After finding the three, I decided to dig a little deeper just to see if there was a fourth one, and to my surprise THERE WAS!!!!!! However, it was obviously infertile.

The good news is I know this is a four egg clutch for sure. This is the only female in this enclosure, it’s her first clutch of the season, and I just replaced the bedding about two weeks ago, so the infertile egg isn’t just an egg that has been sitting there for a while. :main_laugh:

Here’s the pair that produced the eggs. They are my Bell pair I purchased from Marlo Butsko last season!

Nick, you said you did the bedding 2 weeks ago. She could have laid 2x since then? Does 1 or 2 look pinker than the other?

I don't think she could have possibly laid twice. I The lay the bedding flat, so i can notice any irritation (digging to lay eggs) to it, and of course you always notice the females get noticeably skinner right after laying.
