I love my Leos.... but I'd love a few of these too...

Hey everyone,

I wanted to start a poll to see where your interests are besides Leopard Geckos. I know a lot of people are interested in U Milii, and who couldn't be, their faces are adorable! some people really like Rhacs, including Crested Geckos, Gargoyles and Leachies, etc etc. And then there are the Fat Tails... those guys are something else!

so tell me... besides your Leos, what type of gecko are you most looking forward to adding to your collection?

Not in any Specific Order..

Shinisaurus crocodilurus - Chinese Crocodile Lizard.. I have wanted one of these since I was 16 and worked with one that was twice as old as me.

Heloderma sp. - Beaded Lizards, Gila Monster. They are cute.. fun.. Don't get to big.. and they are the only venomous lizards in the world. How could I resist?

Hemitheconyx taylori - Somali Fat Tail Gecko.. They are SO beautiful.. I need to go to Hamm.. :main_rolleyes:

Gonyosoma oxycephala - C/B Red Tailed Green Ratsnake Female to go with my Male.

There is always more I would like...

They are really slow animals.. And.. I would always be wearing a very heavy duty pair of gloves.

So, I want a bazillion leachies, but Naultinus are like, top of my all time want list. I would have picked leachies and other, but it wasnt multiple choice.

Edit: And other then geckos, I want one of each type of axolotl, as well as an unrelated pair of each locale of dwarf of awesome boa constrictor

I have 6 different species of geckos, which is PLENTY! But, if I was to take on a 7th, I suppose it would be a pair of JMG's 'White-Out" Fattails!

Some Coleonyx and the other few Goniurosaurus I don't own (G l bawanglingensis, G k orientalis/toyamai etc).. Obtaining them is another story especially the bawas..

I know not a gecko but some nice chondros as well . (my GTP needs a mate)

Well, I voted for U. Milli. I wish I could have voted for two because I would have also voted for AFT. I, too, am eyeing up the "wash-out" fattails, but I am scared to actually find out how much they will cost. HaHa.

I threw my vote to the crestie only because I can see myself stashing cash for the April show & sneaking one home. What??? There were always 2 in that cage? (After quarantine of course!) What hubby doesn't know can't hurt him

We currently have Leos, Cresteds, Leachies, and Halmaharas so I'm not even allowed to look at other species. LOL I could always go for more Leachies though...they're just so cool.

Well I'm trying to get into aussie geckos altogether so it was either between N. levis levis, or U. milii in the poll but I voted U.milii just because I think thats what I am going to get first.

tokay geckos (fattening up a female)
green tree pythons (got breeding, now the wait)
plains hognose
mexican hognose

Shooting for bredl's (centralian) carpet pythons next year.

I voted for U. milii. I love my little girl and can't wait to get a boyfriend for her!!!

I'm also anxiously awaiting the release of JMGs whiteout fat tails!!

That'll have do it for geckos (although I love to drool over other peoples arboreal geckos and there are lots of other terrestrial ones I'd like to have too).

There are a number of snakes on my wish list as well! Mostly I need boyfriends for some of the girls I have (or will soon have) growing up.

I would like some leachies, naultinus, desert bandeds, fat tails, and some of the diplodactylus too.

As for other reptiles outside of geckos, I love argentine tegus and will get one eventually. I also want a big sulcata, the babies are cute but it would probably outlive me lol. I just got a rosy boa so mark that off the list... but sand boas are cool too. I always wanted a piebald ball python too. And I could go on and on...
