I don't know what you're feeding but if it's mealworms you can count how many you put in and see if there are any missing. A week or so isn't unusual for them not to eat or to eat very little. If you're really worried, you can hold one gently in one hand and push a mealworm against its mouth. It will probably get annoyed and bite it and then will usually chew and swallow.

You can give a small food item inside the hatchlings hide and check if they are interested. If yes- just feed them that way for a bit.

When I have had Fat Tail hatchlings I fed them crickets. I am sure some people have had good luck with mealworms. But I have never had that kind of luck. They had a very very good feeding response to crickets.

Check your temperatures and set up as well. I kept mine singly in 8 qt tubs. Basking of 90. Cool of 75-80. Damp paper towel as a substrate. Shallow water dish. Hide spot on warm side of cage... And you should be good.

Certainly can still be a little early. If the baby is active when you disturb it and shows signs it is not sick by just laying around.
You can "test" them. Get a set of wooden tongs at Petco/Pet Food Center or ?......each day to see if they are ready to start eating, hold a active meal worm in their face. They will tell you when they are hungry and ready with forceful striking that worm.......They won't starve themselves....
take care HJ

Hey HCM, they may just not want to eat while you are watching as well, we have a few babies that absolutely will not eat until I leave the room. I don't think it's too much to worry about just yet, but if you put food in there and there's never any missing the next day, I would probably start hand feeding them until they began eating on their own. We have had to hand feed chicken flavored baby food a few times to our little ones. Most of them lapped the stuff up readily.
