Oh no doubt, I've read about people's geckos not liking red light. I wasn't suggesting all geckos are fine with light lol
I have a cranky leo

This is the one. It comes in various wattage. You can use a 50watt, the heat is very poor. http://www.petsolutions.com/storefr...=15522120&utm_campaign=NightGloMoonlightBulbs
Does it give off a bit of heat?

oh well no more internet information for me I'll be coming here and using books from now on.
no lights. if you want to see your gecko. pick it up and hold it.
? We spoke about several types of lights. I had never had any problems with UVB lights. My leo does not like being held. I will not ever force handle any reptile.
I just want to make clear that the reason UVB was mentioned was because the op asked what I used during the day. I am in no way recommending anyone to use UVB. It has to be used safely and not for those without a good amount of reptile knowledge or geckos kept in regular size enclosures. I have taken in ill geckos with MBD and treated them with UVB successfully and I am aware of all precautions. So what works for me, may not work for others.
