I don't see ANYONE 'hashing out differences" here. Instead, it has turned into the "grown-ups acting like kids forum" out behind the barn talking like potty-mouths and posting pics of 'nasty stuff'. I know, I know... I posted a couple of NSFW pics and gave Gregg a hard time about being arrogant and conceited, but is this the purpose of this forum?

I am really having an issue with GeckoForums.net associating itself with this behavior. Go ahead and call me a 'prude' or 'holier than thou'... I can take it. I just wonder if the purpose of this forum is really being used for what it was created for?

Well I agree that this forum is for people to openly discuss there diffrences. With no good flame threads going. It seems we are all getting along at the moment. And also you have to think. this is brand new for all of us. It doesn't appear to me that anyone has broken any rules so I don't see why these threads can't carry on. Once the new is gone, im sure these types of threads will stop. It's not like brand new members has access to the club, So I doubt GF will be looked upon as this terrible place.

I personally have to agree with Marcia 100% on this post. A forum where we can work out our differences can be productive and is on topic for a 'gecko forum', IMO... it's better to do it here rather than causing a ton of drama over on the main boards.

When it comes to posting images of 'moosenuckles' and images of women half naked(I'm an artist and I do understand the context of the photos) in the 'fight club' forum, I feel thats going a bit too off topic for the intentions of this forum.

If the point of this forum is to help 'reduce' the public drama on the forums... that rocks, I'm all for it. We are a drama free community, right?
I'm all for throwing the people arguing on the main boards in this forum and making them clean up their crap, so to speak, before being able to view anything else on the site.

If this forum is a place to 'shoot the shit' and talk dirty just because no one else can read it... I think that goes completely against GF as a community.

If I wanted to look at boobs and other dirty images, I would simply go to a 'soft porn' website. How old are we again? Lets use this forum the way it was intended folks... and keep each other accountable to it.

Maybe that is harsh... it's simply my opinion.

Rock on Eric. Sorry Cry babies. Heres my suggestion. Each thread has a title and for the most part the title kinda lets you know what might be going on in that thread. If it doesn't concern you or you feel like it might hurt your feelings. Just skip over it and go to the next one. You can do that I swear, I tried it like three times tonight. IT WORKS.... Or heres another thought. The fight club is going to get rough at times im sure. So if its not for you just have Kelli take your name of the club list and then you want have to worry about coming here to see all the bad things. I am generally a pretty easy going and peaceful person, but I can't stand people wanting to take my rights away. (HUHHHH!!!!!) Kelli gave us this part of the forum, By the way Kelli. Thank You. And now we have a few people crying about how it needs to be cleaned up. Get a life. This is how everything starts. Kinda Like alittle thing up in the air now HR669. A few people whinned and cried about how these animals are bad and going to take over the world, So they are trying to pass a law. Think about that next time before you complain about anything...

Now keep in mind. I am not trying to defend what has been said this far or the pictures. I am just trying to save this part of the forum as I think it will be very useful in months to come with no more rules than what we already have.

This is more of the "Uncensored Adult Lounge" in my opinion . . . where off topic goes a little above and beyond. We normally don't have many "beefs" on this forum only a few random ones so I doubt this section is going to be packed of people fighting back and forth but full of adults that just want to relax and get a little loose with people they'll probably never have the chance to hang out with too hang loose with them..

I am on other sites were flame wars are allowed and it keeps people honest. I know that is probally what Kelli was going for here and I feel thats a good thing. Not all deals will be handled in a peace full matter, Sometimes it takes calling people out among there peers to get them to do the right thing. Now like I said earlier in this thread.
