Call me naive for trusting a 13 year old, but this kid seemed legit.

Well, I don't like name calling but...

Seriously, when you make a purchase you do so at your own risk. You knew the person was a child, and you made a decision to buy geckos from him. Chalk it up as a lesson learned and move on.

I am well aware of that, but put yourself in my shoes. The kid drives down 70 miles with his family for a day of paintball in my city. I actually DIDN'T know he was a child, until I saw him. Didn't even know he was 13 till he told me earlier. His tag had the word "Man" in it. I feel i was slightly misled.

I have "chalked it up as a lesson learned". which I have basically already said earlier in this thread.

I am already finding new homes for these dudes. Believe me, I will be far more critical of people on this forum.

It was me being naive, assuming those on the classifieds knew more than me.

I appreciate everyones input though.

Yeah, it is hard to know someone's age when you are dealing with them on the Net for sure. Best of luck on getting the guys new homes. ;-)
