I have a bell albino.....who I'm not sure is a female or male. I'll be taking her/him to the vet within the week as a general check up and for a f/m check
I got Zynx from a petstore and no nothing of her genetics either. People told me she is a bell albino?
But even then does that mean she would produce Bell albinos?
If I wanted Blazing Blizzards, wouldn't the dad or mom have to be 100% het for blizzard not temper albino?
Oh I am still so confused
FYI: I don't plan on breeding for QUITE a while, Zynx is still a bit underweight, her body is plumping up just beautifully and she is WAY more active but her tail is still skinny. Keekeio is just a healthy little booger.
Oh I have some questions. I have been doing some reading and I'm a little confused
When the female and male breed, does that mean she will have 1 fertile batch...how long before she lays them?
Or does it mean she'll have several batches that are fertile over a 12 week period, laying eggs every 2-3 weeks
Also is spring the beginning of breeding season (still not planning her this spring) Unless of course she is old enough? I don't want it to put stress on her body
Can you breed all year round?
How often do they ovulate?
Her first batch will be like 1 egg and then usually 2 eggs there after?
So say she has layed her eggs, then can she be bred to the same male again or do you wait awhile right after she has layed her eggs, like a week?
Also how much calcium does she need to be eating? I give mine a dish and each cricket individually dipped in the leopard gecko calcium, it's like a black bottle with a purple lid and smells like bananas. I almost want to toss it into my smoothie, it smells so good
Also I noticed that their are only 3 BBB to date or is it 4?
What exactly is that cross, and why is it so rare to get?
