There's nothing wrong with disagreeing on an open forum and can most certainly done without disrespecting anyone. To immediately jump to an argumentative state causes me to question ethics. So does throwing out unfounded accusations on a public forum. We have kids here and this is certainly no example to set for our young herpers.

Holy crap. I don't even start slinging f-words. Little kids are seeing this stuff. There is a thread about white and yellows. Maybe there should be a section just for morphs and each one a sticky. Like the gecko wiki. I'm not taking sides, but maybe an explanation on the morph rather than a "f$&k you Rick" and a "I'll see you in Cleveland"?

I think the caution comes with the release of "new" morphs that all turned out to be phony. People are just trying to pick the brains of the ones who are working with them to gather more info before they validate something as a something they would like to get involved with. This is the second thread where some people went off and ranted about people not being able to afford this or that. Now it gets threatening which is downright childish. Believe me I doubt everything that comes out, not that I cant afford it but there is no data coming out with it and that is what has people questioning. I will tell anyone as I have before feel free to pm me if you have any problems with what I post.

I am sorry that I reposted a thread about the white and yellows. I honestly did a search but the search engine on here is not smart enough to find the related posts if the search is not exact. People type white and yellow so many different ways: w/y, w & y, w&y, w / y... you get the idea.

In general, I find that a lot of people just are not providing good, solid evidence to backup what they say. Especially about a new morph when proving or disproving. Just to say "Its obvious to me that they are different" does not provide any kind of supporting evidence or explanation as to WHY its different. Or to say "It doesnt look any different so its definitely not a new morph", same thing.
I mean really, everyone is taught in school how to right an Essay and the Scientific method, you provide a statement and then back it up with logical evidence!

If I recall correctly, the really nice examples were over in Europe. If we could get someone over there to explain the genetics that would be grand. I think it is a morph because when crossed out it produces low quality white and yellow, hinting to a co-Dom gene.

Seriously though, I think someone needs to go to Hamm and pick up some stellar, high-end examples of W&Y and bring them home to work with. Since my particular status in the gecko business seems to be about 10 years away from Hamm, someone else will have to go in my stead.
And have the spaetzle and beer for me. I miss it so. And the hot dill potato salad. *sigh*

I really think we just have the diluted form over here so far, with maybe the exception of JMG and Sasobek. It's like having pale creamy-yellow sunglows and orange sunglows. They're both pretty, they're both sunglows, but one makes your jaw drop and you drool a little, the other? well, it's cute...
