Identification of Leopard Gecko Death

One of my leopard geckos died recently and I and confused by how she died. When she started to decline she had a big lump under her stomach and was really lethargic and wouldn't eat. I do not keep her on sand or substrate, I keep her on reptile carpet. I was breeding her and she had a lay box with eco earth in it. And right before she died she was bleeding from her vent. She was still pooping but it was really runny. Any help would be appreciated.

It's impossible to know without an autopsy but it does sound as if there could have been some kind of hernia that ruptured.
