Alright....I am beyond stumped and darn near compleatly frusterated. I had a gecko hatch in August from my Mack Raptor x Dreamsicle pairing. When he(?) hatched, I would have bet a good percentage of my savings account that he was a dream. Here is his baby pictures from the day he hatched.

Seriously, how the heck could this not be Dream with all that white??!!!

And so...4 months later, this is what he grows into. Still a beatiful gecko, but I think I may have struck out on the Dreamsickle this year. :(

I don't wanna hear it...I know I have to test breed it to be sure what it is...I plan on doing that. But, have any of you guys ever seen Dreamsickles with this much pattern? (It's okay...you can be honest...at this point I don't have my hopes up anymore)

I have seen Dreamsickles with more patter and color than that one. I still think it is most likely a Dream. When you prove it out be sure to let us know. Either way it is an attractive gecko.

Here's another interesting theory...

One person actually mentioned to me that it looks a lot like a Mack Raptor- no enigma...which is interesting, because i'm not sure this gecko ever showed me any signs of actually being an enigma. I guess I kind of assumed it, and he ended up developing a white tail, so I just assumed...well we all know what happens when one assumes things... ;) He's accurate with his food, he doesn't tilt his head, and I don't see him spin. So maybe....

This gecko needs to hurry up and grow so I can breed it. LOL.

Flash a strobe light on him and see if he tweaks out... :D

It doesn't spin. Even if I take it into natural sunlight. It squints, but it doesn't spin, and it doesn't wobble. But dad IS an dreamsickle (according to the breeder...who has a STELLAR reputation) and he hasn't shown me any signs of enigma qualities either. So I don't know. It kills me that I have to wait some more...I waited 2 years to even be able to hatch eggs in the first place!

He looks like he hatched with the faint enigma U on his head, but it's hard to see. I still think he has mack in him.
