...So on a last minute "Splurge", I decided to add 2 more het RADAR's to my collection. The 1st one, the female, is from Steve Sykes @ Geckos Etc. The 2nd, is an Enigma het RADAR (possible Eclipse Enigma het Bell) produced by Jayson Haygood from Gecko Genetics.

The Enigma male has a small amount of black pigmentation in his eye near each pupil, but it is not proven yet, as to whether this is homozygous Eclipse, or if it is just the Enigma trait at work on the eye. He has been proven to be het RADAR by Kelli @ HISS, but whether he is a BEE het Bell, or a Enigma het RADAR is unknown... would have to test breed him to an Eclipse to find out for sure. But as of now, I am hoping that he turns out to be a BEE, so that will drastically improve my chances!

Any given rate, here they are!

Enigma het RADAR male (possible Eclipse):

Het RADAR female:
(the red spot on her tail is from the male... he's quite the "go-getter", but so far, she has denied him, lol)

LOL! I see that!

Thanks again, Robin!

(Maybe you could post up that pic you had with your awesome camera showing his eye a little better, for those that have not seen the pic... because i couldn't capture it at all with my crappy camera, lol)

Thanks!

You know, I didn't realize before that the 2nd photo was of his eye a few months back... thats awesome... I looks like the black has "grown" a little more... seems to be bigger in the more recent photo. Could this possibly be an Eclipse...?!?! Hmmmm....

I own the brother and they came from bell enigma X eclipse non het albino. Mine made a radar enigma too , but from redstripe bell lines.

Awesome adds there and I can't wait to see what you make!

Yeah, thats whats wierd tho... I'm hoping that maybe the Bell Enigma parent might have had a hidden Eclipse gene in it that was not noted or something... Or one of those "very low chance het Eclipse" type deals where it was unlikely that the gene mite have been passed down through a couple generations... I'm going to find out for sure next year tho, because I plan to test breed him to a pure Eclipse to find out! :main_thumbsup:
