If your gecko lays eggs. and you candle them One seems like the Bulls eye is ontop like it should be. So you leave it. the other one even though you didnt move it when it was laid. the Bulls eye is on the side of the egg. do you Move the egg so the bulls eye is on top?

DO you dare Touch and roll the eggs if the bulleye is on the side.

or

DO NOT touch it even though the bulls eye is on the side...!

Some people turn the egg if they see the bulls eye on the first day. I think to be safest, unless the eggs have been laid within 24 hours it's best not to turn the eggs.

do note turn the eggs after they are laid . the "bulls eye" will attach itself to where ever it may once it has done that you do not want to move it. if they are turned shortly after laying it is probably okay . but not after it has attached to the inside of the egg. presumably within 24 hours of being laid.

I actually have been doing experiments with this and it doesn't seem to matter where the bullseye is. I check my hides everyday to make sure there are no eggs but if they are I just put them in the incubator and then mark them.
The embryo can only drown once it is attached to the egg wall. If you aren't sure how long the egg has been there I would mark it first as found and then set it in the incubator.
I have noticed that most of the bullseyes for me have been on the side near the top but I think that just depends on the female that is laying them. I have eggs in the incubator that are all doing fine and the bullseyes have been located in different spots.
