Ok well mostly, i still have heat pads and fans, and this dehumidifier gizmo i found to add(http://www.eva-dry.com/), and i may buy a different light strip....but anyways here ya go. Oh i'll be adding 1 or 2 Glowing zebra fish to the pond There is a cave behind each section of driftwood. A low cool humid(with moist moss lining) cave on far left, a med dry hide in middle with dry inside, and the main large high/dry hide on far right.

Go here for the theory/construction thread if interested in more info... http://www.dendroboard.com/forum/lounge/35591-desert-vivariums.html

Can see the moss on the high dry side is dying as i thought, but i drowned a couple plants when i did the initial heavy mistings. I should have let everything dry out before i started planting then spot watered.

I truly am in awe. I honestly think this is the part I like most about this hobby is the vast number of different ways you can provide habitats.

I wish I could get a closer look :(

OMG thats AWESOME!!!!!!!!!! I love it!!!!! The only thing I was thinking about is, if you put fish in the pond, it won't be safe for the gecko to drink, unless you want him/her to be drinking the fish's bodily fluids. Even with a filter, it still cant get everything out w/o aquarium chemicals(i believe) lol no insult meant, just IMHO ;). But everything looks great!!!!! I especially like the glowing calci-sand on the walls. AMAZING!!!!! :main_thumbsup::main_thumbsup::main_thumbsup::main_thumbsup:

I've actually had animals drinking from such ponds over the last few years with no problems so far...but it is something to keep an eye on atleast. I may add a small removeable water dish somewhere to give them another option atleast.

Yeah I don't really think that's anything to worry about, either...I think something that people tend to forget is that these animals are meant to live IN THE WILD, where to they get their water then? From dirty sources. I'm sure our tap water is more dangerous...

Very awesome man.

Ha...fun, not sure thats the word ;) ...no actually they are pretty fun but a real handfull. The ferrets dont really care about the fox, but she loves them...until they bite her while she's trying to make friends then she takes after them....then they repeat the whole thing over and over... for 2 very intelligent animal species they are pretty retarded ;) But they get along ok most of the time and no blood so far...but they are always supervised.

And thanks for the art compliment...i'll be replacing the crappy pics with better pics or actual scans along with adding some stuff not posted already. Soon I hope, given i have some free time now ;)
