Im goin to buy an adult male leo because its such a good deal i can pass it up and i have a juvie leo currently but im not sure if its a male or female. I was wondering if it might be ok to house them together. i know that adults can bully smaller ones but i just thought i'd see what you guys think whether i could get away with it at least until i can buy a new tank next week when i get payed.

From what I've read I wouldn't house them together unless you set up some sort of divider in the meanwhile until you can get the new tank set up.

I would say "NO", it is not a good idea to house them together. First you want to keep them separate in case the new one is carrying and diseases. Second, the adult male may bully or fight with the juvie. If they do get along and the juvie is female, she may end up getting pregnant before she is big enough. If the Juvie is male, the adult male might fight/kill him.

Wait until you can house them properly before getting a new one.

Thank you for your help and confirming my thoughts. i borrowed a tank for now and here is the new male.

any thoughts on the morph?im thinking he might be patternless and maybe a giant because hes massive compared to what ive seen but i really have no clue.

Price varies on color and the breeder.

I've seen super nice tangs go for $40-100 now days. It all varies. I've seen mediocre sell for the same price as normals.

He's a super hypo baldy. Could be tangerine, but its hard to see with the dark pictures. A lot of tangerines are more yellow than orange, which really boils to just a super hypo. No giant, just adult male.
