I'm MAD! This girl hurt 1 of my geckos >_<

I'm furious right now.

I have 3 Leos: Star, Bengal, & Sunkiss. After quarantine, I placed them in 1 large terrarium together and they've been living well together.

A couple weeks ago, I put Sunkiss in a tub in one of my racks in my bedroom because I wanted to focus on her eating since she wasn't gaining as much weight as the other 2 girls. Two nights ago, I put Bengal in another tub in my bedroom because she didn't quite get some shed off of her nose and the way I can bring up humidity easier in a plastic tub helped. She shed it off on the same day, but I just didn't put her back in the large terrarium yet.

BUT GOING BACK TO MY POINT.......

I just met this girl who came over to my house for a 2nd time today. She wanted to pick up Star (she was the only one in the tank) and I said NO because there were a bunch of people in my house partying and I didn't want her to get scared or get loose. I told her "You can do anything in my house... just DON'T touch my pets."

THIS MORNING, one of my friends told me that the same girl came to Star later in the evening when I was with a group of people outside of my house. He was coming down the stairs and he saw her smacking her! She just kept smacking Star in the face and sides while chasing her around the whole length of the tank. He said Star kept running away from her and tried to hide in various parts of the tank, but the girl just kept smacking her around - and her life partner (girlfriend) was just standing there laughing at Star trying to hide!

This INFURIATED me. I emailed the girl when I got to work this morning and I told her that what she did was EXTREMELY disrespectful, that she was not welcome in my home anymore, and to never speak to me again because I did not consider her a friend. I'm glad Star still has her tail (I changed her light bulb this morning and she was sleeping in one of the clear/white plastic hides) and I'm also glad that she didn't freak out when I was moving around this morning.

MAN I'M STILL PISSED OFF RIGHT NOW. I can't believe it.

I am a very loving person and hate violence, but that is exactly what I would have done in that situation. My pets are my children so to speak.

If I saw her do it last night, I definitely would have been all in her and her girlfriend's face about it - but I didn't find out about it until this morning when I was driving another friend home on the way to work.

I'd want to make her life hell, but I just don't ever want to see her again :main_thumbsdown:

It´s sad how soulless ppl can be... having fun seeing an small little gecko running for his live scared for hell that are ppl that also have fun seeing other ppl have pain and laughing on ppl that had no luck in live. But whatever just never let her come to you and sue her everytime she is in your near with others. Just tell everyone whos interested what a ville person she is.....(and lock the rooms where your friends are in to prevent others entering these rooms if possible when you have a party

If you have a witness that will come forward and tell exactly what they told you to whatever authority it ends up being-maybe they can at least scare the shit out of her and maybe-just maybe-she might think twice about doing this or anything like it again

Just for my own idle curiosity-how old was this person that was abusing your gecko?
Animal abuse often ends up leading to sociopath behavior down the road

If there is anyway that this person can NOT get away with this-within the law-because you do not want to end up in jail-I would pursue it

Some people are just morons. When you live and work in DC like I do you are exposed to alot of people that think they have an opinion worth hearing and all they really get across is that they are morons. Oh my gods, I would have come UN-FREAKIN-GLUED!
I have told people straight up "Respect my home and my family and DON'T mess with my animals, or I will kill you." (Luckily, I guess I have the kind of personality that people don't really know if I'm serious.)
That chick and her girlfriend don't sound like they are worth the flesh they're printed on.
Just remember, I have keys to crematories and dna is untraceable in cremains.
