Went to the expo in NH and bought to very nice animals! Will have pics soon, cage temp is sitting at 71 *my room temp* this OK?

Yes, your room temp is fine.
My fluctuates between 71 and 73 degrees in his cage.

Congratulations on your new crestie. Temps sound fine. Just be prepared this summer if you don't have air conditioning to provide it with a cooler location when the indoor heat gets above the mid-'80s. I have a special basement condo for Spencer when it gets too hot upstairs.
