If this is in the wrong place, moderators, please feel free to move it, but I thought this would get more attention here than in the website section for now. I am trying to make my new comic blog look snappy and I need a few good pics (and permission from the photographers of course) for the look of the new site. Here it is so far! Lazy Gecko!
I chose Livejournal because I know the most about it and it is easier than other blogs to navigate and put together. People who are not members can also leave comments so you don't have to join if you've got something to say about my comic!
Eventually I'd like to have an actual site, one where people can subscribe and get updates in their emails every Monday (or whenever I update)! But I figure this is a good way to go especially if I don't know how well the comic will do...
ANYWAY, I would very much like some photographs of close-ups of geckos sleeping and especially close-ups of their scales. I am thinking of using the scales for the background image and the sleeping geckos will be icons. I will not use any image without consent of the photographer. I did a search on google, but was afraid to use any of the images since I didn't know the owners. And my camera can only zoom in so far without going blurry. (The focus function seems to be slowly going out of it...)
Also note that I will be glad to link to your site, if you have one, and post the name of the owners of the images I use in the introduction sticky as well as in the profile section of the journal. :main_cool3:
