Inactive Gecko

I've had my gecko for a few months now, and she has never been what you'd call active (even at night). I thought that maybe it was because she was in a 10 gallon tank, so I got her a 20 gallon long, but she still sits in one of her hides all day and night. My temps are around 90 on the hot side, and 80 on the cool side. I use a heat lamp and a UTH for heating. I have reptile carpet as substrate. Another thing that bothers me now is that she isn't really eating. She never has eaten particularly voraciously, maybe 3 crickets or 2 superworms every other night would be all that she would take. For some reason though, she seems to get chunky very quickly, even though she doesn't eat much. Any suggestions?

I also forgot to mention that she is very nippy. I can't even take her out of her tank to clean it without her hanging off my finger until i get her in another tank until hers is ready.

Yup, completely normal. Not particularly runny or miscolored.

Maybe it is just her personality? You might want to consider taking a fecal sample to the vets anyways.

Sometimes my female gets that way as well, and I began to think she was bored. I purchased several different types of hides and furnature for her and switch them out every time I clean the cage. I also handle her for at least 30 minutes a day. She seems to be a lot more active when she has a brand new cave and new furnature to explore.
