Not a "no no" , more of a "not too much", in other words, you don't want to continue it generation after generation without outcrossing but limited sibling breeding is OK.

out crossing is when breeders breed a non blood related gecko into the line breed geckos. to mix up the blood lines, if that makes sence.

Outcrossing is using a non-line bred gecko in your stable of geckos that allows you to keep the succeeding generations from having birth defects due to inbreeding. A lot of breeders go back to a more pure breed of gecko like an Afghanicus:

but you could simply "outcross" your line bred geckos by using a male from an unrelated strain.

Then again I'm not a breeder (yet), but I'm pretty sure I have that correct.

I see, so isay I had 2 hatchlings which came from the same mother and bred them. You can do it, but wouldn't want to do it too much so I got another non-related gecko to outcross them and keep the bloodlines fresh.

Yup, you can also breed one of the daughters back to the dad or one of the son's back to the mother just be sure not to cross albino line's like albino and temper or Rainwater.
