Incubator & SIM vs GEO

I am looking to pick the minds of those who are more knowledgeable.
I am trying to choose between a Reptipro 600 and an ExoTerra incubator. Has anyone had experiences with either? And would the GEO or the SIM go better with a mini-fridge incubator?

Thanks!

I have the reptipro5000 and have had relatively good experience with it. I haven't seen any reviews of the -6000 but it sounds as if they've improved it. I have no idea if all these look-alike mini fridge incubators are really exactly the same or whether each company has designed its own "guts" and is using the same mass-produced shell, but I have heard more negative things about the Exo-terra.

As far as the Geo vs. SIM goes, I use the SIM and, aside from the dimensions (i.e. how many boxes you can fit in an incubator and how many eggs you can put in each box), I wouldn't think it would make any difference. I can fit 2 SIM's in my incubator and can probably get about 40 gecko eggs in each SIM.

Reptipro 6000 is better than the exoterra one, 6000 is a newer model and they've improved on the design. It just came out not long ago. As for GEO vs SIMs, I'm using GEO with the reptipro 6000 at the moment. SIMS's didn't seem to fit when I was looking at it before.

Thank you all, for your input! GEO seems better organization and space-wise, but wanted to know if it would work with the reptipro 6000 as I've heard about the SIM not working well with the hovabator.

The reason the SIM doesn't work with the hobovator is that the hobovator heats from the top and the eggs in the SIM were getting dried out. The makers of the SIM have produced a "fix" for that problem. I have no idea how the GEO works with the hobovator. In any case, either should work with the reptipro6000.

A GEO and a SIM container are basically the same idea. It's something that suspends the eggs from touching substrate. The fix for hovabators is adding more water then usually to the substrate.

I think there's a more substantial fix that involved a sponge at the top of the SIM to avoid the drying out.
