Infertile Egg Question

From what I understand if an egg candles yellow then it is infertile? If that is the case then how long will an infertile egg set in an incubator before going bad and starting to mold... I have some that candled all yellow at 5 days but are still plump and looking good inside the incubater at day 48

I have had eggs look good and white for over 50 days but candled yellow I cut them open and yellow goo was inside. These may have went for several more days if I hadnt cut open

strange hmm so if I candle all my eggs its safe to throw out all the ones the candle yellow?

Only if they're halfway or more through incubation and there's still no change. The ones you mentioned at 48 days are infertile. I wouldnt throw out a one or two week old egg that was candling yellow though

I incubate till they mold most of the time but the one I cut last was on day 54 and was kept at 89deg so I knew it was done
