Interesting Mack Snow Hatchling

Any one seen a mack snow hatchling like this before???

it must be over 4 weeks old now, putting on less weight than its clutchmates but still healthy!

came from a Watered down (some yellow) Mack Snow female and Male hi-Yellow pairing.

Some days its grey areas look almost black (very dark grey) other times it looks lighter, wierd!

I don't think I've hatched any that dark, but some of my darkish ones do lighten up after a few sheds. It will be interesting to see how it develops.

Maybe you have a black mack? I've heard of midnight blizzards and I've only ever seen one in person, but I've seen darker mack hatchlings and if I remember right, they're usually refered to as "Black macks".

Sure is pretty though!

thanks for the compliments all, never heard of a 'Black Mack' over here in the uk!

anyone got any links to one?

and the clutchmate was a hi-yellow, maybe a bit of tang.
