So a leo I got from an old high school friend, she's about 3 years old, has been alone all her life.

I bred her to one of my males early this season (I'd say around May) and she laid one infertile clutch and was done.

About a month ago I moved her into a cage with a different male as an experiment (a successful one I might add. She's gotten him to eat more *score!* and he's made her slightly more docile), and lo and behold she's carrying at least one egg again!

So I guess I'm wondering if I should expect several more clutches out of her or if she'll lay this one and be finished..since it's close to the end of the season...?

Someone just asked a similar question a few hours ago and if I could find it I'd direct you there, but it's easier to just type it again: it all depends on how much longer the female will be ovulating. Mine started laying in Feb. and the last eggs (I hope) were laid yesterday. I have introduced young females to a male in August some seasons and generally got about 3 clutches before they petered out, though anything is possible.

Ach, she laid today...just one egg and it's a water balloon :(

I'd hoped that she would lay fertile ones this time around, but it looks like that's just not happening.
