Well, this is my gal, Eldora. I was wondering if any of you could tell me what color morph you would call her. She is a pet store find, so in the future if I decide to breed her will this color breed true? I have to ask because I have bred bettas and it is well known that pet store bettas have no hope of producing consistent color...you shouldnt even try! Is it the same with reptiles? Are geckos mass-produced in the same manner with no regard to genetics? Thanks for any help you can give.

i dont know which morph she is but she is very nice and bright. I also like her eyes. Geckos pass on their genetics.

I’d say a tang myself

It should depending on what you breed her to

Not exactly, read below

They don’t really care about the genetics no, but if the genetics are there they will pass, your tang gecko is a result of selective breeding, so some color should pass to her offspring at least a little bit.

Definitely Hypo (which means that she has less than 10 spots on her back) and she definitely has some Carrot-Tail (the orange in her tail).. So if it is a Tang as well, it would be HTCT (Hypo Tang Carrot Tail). She is gorgeous too btw :D
