I think this is a new red eye mutation that is not related with the raptor eye mutation. It works in the same way then raptors, you can have snake eyes as well. It pop out this year from my sunglow/hybino breeding, the red eye has some white marble speckles in it which makes it different then raptors. I never crossed raptors in this line and that is why I am confident is a new genetic trait. Any of you with sunglow/hybino please let me know if you have any that look like this. I checked my tabs and all the animals with the red eyes have come from the same tub # with 2 females in it. They will be placed back to the same male to see if this happens again the next season and also all the red eye glow and snake eye glow I hatched were all females and will be placed for next season back with daddy to see if we can hatch more of these beauties.
I am very excited about this new project, like I did not have already enough, lol, but this red eye is awesome with those white marble sparkles in it.
Any comment or opinion will be great.
Regards Alberto

Cool. Do you know if he got it from crossing hybinos to raptor or it just popped out like in my case?
Does it have white marble in it like mine?
Well, if you do not know these answers I am sure he will answer them later.

That's very cool Alberto! I'm glad to hear it wasn't associated with any "RAPTOR" lines. The only thing I've seen similar was in a few Blazing Blizzards (tremper line) with snake eyes and full "ruby" eyes...I noticed some lighter, random speckles in the eyes. One in particular was really neat looking...kind of like your last pic. But they weren't as marbled as yours. Awesome project...it'll be neat seeing was pops out next year!

I beleive he got it from crossings in the raptor line but im not 100% sure. I left him a message to come and chat about these guys in here, so he should be here later.

Very cool! I'm almost positive that rub eyed hybino was created from Raptor genes.:main_thumbsup:

Awesome, I love the speckled pattern in the eye.

Someone had posted a SHTCT, earlier with sold black eyes, not het for tremper or blizzard if I remember correctly.

I'm loving all these new eye morphs!!!

Wow! Those are some amazing eyes I love the speckles they are so unique. Earlier this year I had bred a group of non-albino het for APTOR in hope of producing an APTOR. I never did hatch an APTOR but did get an interesting mix. Among them was this Hybino that appeared to have Red Eyes.

Well, when I see the eyes of your geckos looks like raptor eyes. One is solid red and the other is a snake eye with a normal pattern eye on the corner, mine are like red and on the red they have that white like marble on it, very interesting, I will sure be very interesting to see what pops out next year.

Yes the eyes on yours are certainly different and I am sure you are on to something new here. It almost looks like you are looking through a Kaleidoscope with that white marbling. I am certainly interested in this project of yours.

I am just hoping to reproduce the RAPTOR type eyes in my hybino projects next year.
