No. Red Stripe popped out of some breedings groups (supposedly from Tremper himself) and are propogated by HQR (High Quality Reptiles).

i don't think nobody proven that, and is not possible from pics be sure about that
and i think reverse stripe and red stripe have different origins (strange if there are any correlation), but we need to wait the opinion of more expert breeders that work with them from more than us ;)

No! A Stripe is a stripe, a Reverse Stripe is a reverse Stripe. They are not the same thing. Reverse Stripes come from, and are related to stripes, if that is what you mean.

"Red Stripe" is a Tangerine Stripe, not a reverse stripe. Have you seen a Reverse Stripe? It has one stripe down the center, pretty much just the opposite of a regular stripe. There is nothing that even looks like one single stripe down the center, on a Red Stripe.:)

I see that Marcia`s Reverse Stripe you posted a link to, looks a little bit like a stripe, that is probably where you are getting confused. If it is a reverse, it would have started out at least as one complete stripe, maybe hers has changed a bit, as it grew. Here is a non-albino one, even though it is more of a "Patternless" type IMO, you can see the single stripe better, after a game of connect the dots. :main_thumbsup:

"Is a red stripe a tangerine reverse stripe??"

Was that even a serious question?
Why would it be any different than 'Is a stripe a reverse stripe?'
No, and the color doesn't have anything to do with it.

Agreed. After hatching over 300 Redstrpes, we've seen many pattern variations, brown/black/orange spots/stripes/aberrancies but never one reverse stripe.
