Is Hatching Always Synchronized?

Does a pair of eggs laid the same day (and in the same medium/container/incubator) always hatch on the same day? Or can one hatch a day or two later? Bob

I have had the second egg hatch out three days later. But most do hatch the same day.

They can go longer than 3 days but usually they hatch close to each other.

One of my last clutches hatched a day apart.

My clutches never hatch the same day! It always stresses me out. But yes, I agree with the others, it is normal for them to hatch on separate days. Never had it go any longer than 48 hours apart, though.

Thank you all for the responses. It's good to know that there is still hope for the other egg when it doesn't hatch right away. My first two clutches hatched within a few hours of each other so I assumed that that is how it had to be. Bob
