Is It More Common...

for Leopard Geckos to be males or females? I mean, not necessarily that you know, but... Alright How about I ask, what do YOU have? Even if you have more than one, do you have males or females? Or both?

I think the market is pretty evenly spilt, but I don't know for sure. In my collection I have more male than female adults because I breed them and have several females for each male (also the males have to be housed separately and the females can be housed in groups). On the other hand, all of my babies are females because I incubate for female. I do this because I sell a lot of my geckos to beginners. If they buy a pair, it's best that we're as sure as possible that they're both female.

I would say probably most are female. There just isn’t a reason to have as many males as females. I also believe that most wholesalers incubate for female so the offspring can be housed together with fewer problems.
