I was just curious.....

I have 2 females and 1 male........I witnessed 1 female copulating with the male and know that she is gravid......the second female I bought at a store and they confirmed she had just laid eggs this week......I had been housing the first female and the male together and they have been fine.....when I introduced the second female....all the male wants to do is copulate.....is it safe to keep female # 2 in with the others?

No worries about the hatchlings.....I have ahd an incubator up and running for 2 weeks now....all set for the eggs to be laid.....just wondering about the safety of both females and if the male is going to eventually back off of trying to impregnate them

I keep my males and females together during the entire breeding season with almost no problems. If anything, sometimes the males seem to lose interest in the females before I'd like them to, possibly resulting in infertile eggs.

make sure they get the calcium, Calcium with d3 and vitiams. You can get a very basic dig scale that weighs in grams at Walmart under $20.00. I spend almost $40.00 for mine and it weighs up to 5lbs.

I'm sure they can. I separate mine so they have some time to get "excited" about each other again and also because I change the pairings every year and don't want anyone to jump the gun.
