Is it okay to breed half siblings?

I can get two trempers that have the same dad but different moms, would it be okay to breed them? Would it still be considered line breeding?

You can even breed siblings together, but as Chrissy said, try to outcross every coupe of generations.

Whats the general rule? How often do you out cross, with my fish it was every 3 generations or 2 if i made good progress.
