I was wondering if my female was ovulating. She is around a year old and over 50 grams. I saw a pink circle in her belly and looked up a pic on the internet of a ovulating female and they look similar. I just wanna make sure before I put her with a male. I took some pics. Here they are. Tell me what YOU think.

Please Excuse My Hand.

You can kinda see the pink circle to the left. The camera dims the color.

Will they sometimes fight while they are together? Will it eventually stop and then they mate or should I remove my female from the male's cage?

they can fight yes. will they stop, sometimes not. i would remove the female from the males cage put her back into her enclosure and put the male in her enclosure. once you see they are not fighting (the generally start right away or soon after introducing) it is okay to stop watching them.

I put them in her cage. Her cage is a little bit smaller than his though. I will have to fix up another tub for them. They are together and have been walking over eachother and just kind of ignoring eachother. They haven't fought at all yet though. I left them alone for a minute. I will go check on them in a little bit.

They are still ignoring eachother. But they haven't fought. Should I leave them together for the night and check on them in the morning? I dont want either of them to get hurt though.

I had 2 bad experiences so I leave them together for a few days, while im around and take out at night, if everything is going fine I do the sleep over. My first bad experience I checked on them in the morning and there was a bite taken out of the females tail. The other is a female that went crazy and has to be kept alone, because she flips if she even sees another gecko, male or female.

I'm away from my house right now. Since I won't be there for a couple of days I seperated them. When I get home I will reintroduce them and if they are getting along then I will leave them together. I'm going to get a new tub that hasn't been used yet because its a bigger tub than either of their current tubs. That way they can leave eachother alone if they get pissed.

Hey everyone!!! I have an update. I put the male and female together today when I got home. While I was starting to put the cage together I looked up and they were mating. SO I guess they are getting along now. haha. I'm going to leave them together for a while. When do you recommend seperating them?
