Sorry to steal this thread from jennamah but someone said an adult should be 65grams but mine is 98 grams. Is this bad (CHECK PIC). She eats roaches supers and 1 waxie a week. I also have a raptor who is 78grams, what u guys think.
p.s. Oh yeah, check in pic 1 behind her right leg there is a bulge of fat!!! Even when i hold her she feels mushy.

How old is she?
She looks pretty healthy to me a nice fat tail. Kind of short in the pictures though this is why im asking.

She's definately healthy...she's borderline on the plump side, judging by the slight swelling of the front and rear limbs. Still within "normal" limits IMO.

As far as the "giant" geckos go- i'm pretty sure it has more to do with legnth rather than weight.

Gorgeous leo!

I think she is on the heavy side, I have really started to take notice in my leo's when they get plump.

They really start not being as active, not being as aggressive towards food ect. I have been cutting back the food with good results.

I have been doing the same better feeding results for me . most of mine are hand fed so they tend to take a few plump roaches every time. I guess alot of mine are on the smaller size in the 50 60s and low 70s.

I think she is a bit on the fat side (look at those plump fingers!), you can cut down on her food so her weight won't increase further. I'm putting my females on diet too (1 roach nymph every 3 days only); I feel like I'm starving them, but they'll do fine with less food.
