Is this a good sign?

Is it a good sign that Kiya will fall asleep in my lap? Lol, I know this is a weird question. Just wondering if other peoples geckos do this too. :main_huh: Or she will also fall asleep when I pet her head. :main_yes:

I would say it is a very good sign. It means she trust you a whole lot to be able to fall asleep.

When I got my last 6 geckos, and took them all out of their deli cups, my little Super Snow girl crawled right up onto the back of my hand, and fell flat asleep, all sprawled out on my warm hand It's a good feeling when they do that! Later that day she passed out again on my bare leg, above my knee....so cute!!

It feels so warm and fuzzy when you know they really trust you (and maybe love you too :main_rolleyes. I never had a gecko 100% asleep on my hand, they always have at least 1 eye open. I really like how they sit on my hand all spread out~ lol.

(I'm getting waaay too good at that game -- but I can tell when he's about to bolt now and put an end to his fun before it starts . Funny how he only tries to run away on weighing day. Any other day he's fine just sitting there... *sigh*)

that's a great sign! i have finally gotten to the point that Newton will sleep on me sometimes. I oftentake one of her coconut hides adn put in on my stomach when i am laying on the couch watching TV. I think she loves watching Scrubs just as much as i do!!!!

Tiamat has taken to climbing on my head and sitting there. I'll lift her up to my nose, and then she'll climb onto my glasses and onto my forehead and then my crown. Her little feet tickle SO MUCH. And then she'll just sit there. (I have thick hair and I guess she likes the heat.) She won't sleep on me yet. I hope she'll do that with me someday though.

With my boyfriend Kiya will sleep on his shoulders, or in his hood. Me it's usually in my lap.

Eben , my big boy, likes to crawl up under my hair and nap and my 2 BBs can't stand for hair to touch them so they like to sit on my hands ( I know its the heat) and take cat naps when they are out in the evenings.
