LOL. Some people who have seen my animals in person have been telling me that my photos don't accurately portray the animals color and I even have a weird cast on the pics. Paul NJ has been working with me and trying to get me up to speed photo wise. Thanks for everything Paul. Paul, here are some taken with a flash which I never used. If these dont work, I'm out the door to buy a Digital Rebel. Thanks guys

Haha, I'm not too sure what's been going on with you and your photos.. but with the right setup inside you should be able to do fine. Although, I would highly recommend a Rebel XTi!

I don't really like using a flash, especially considering that albinos are light sensitive for the first two months. VMS Herp doesn't use a flash on any of their pics and they still look great. I think it's more about having the right background lighting. Also some cameras just have more accurate colors than others. My trusty old Olympus D550Z has pretty good color rendition. The mega pixels are less important to me than a good lens.

That's definitely better! A lot of the mid-range point and shoots have white balance settings that correct the type of light you're having to shoot in. In most of your pics it looks like you're shooting in some sort of florescent lighting so you would select the florescent lighting setting and it would balance the lovely green tint that those lights tend to cast. When I'm lazy I take pics with our Canon D540 (they're only like $250 for the newest model). Just tell the person at the camera store what you're taking pictures of and they should be able to help you. IMO, speed is more important that number of pixels.

I appreciate the kind words. And a special thanks to Paul who told me how it is, straight up. And yes, thats exactly how that Enigma het bell looks in person. I ended up buying a Rebel XTI and I will hopefully will have some better results. Thanks to all for your help. Especially Paul.

The kit lens isn't great compared to pro lenses, but I assure you it'll make great images!
I havent been able to post on here with the new camera because the file is too large and it seems like it is on each setting. Any suggestions? Thanks

Not sure what camera you have, but you should be able to go in the menu under settings and change the image size.

another option for image size is to upload onto www.photobucket.com ...it can automatically resize your images/QUOTE]

cause this camera takes nice shots but for the life of me, I couldn't re-size them. Thanks for tips guys, really. How do I use the resized pics from photobucket once its complete, and re post them here or on a kingsnake ad? Thanks.

OK....

upload the images to your photobucket folder, but use the option "max image size: 640 x 480" , not the larger default I had. Once the image is uploaded underneith it will be 4 options to link. Use the 4th which is IMG code and just click on it and it copies the link. To post that image here just paste the link ;)

Any questions further just call me Mike.
