It only feels like 93F outside and it's after noon! That may still be hot for some but it feels like heaven to me. Our heat index is about 10 degrees higher than the actual temp so we've been in the mid-100's in the shade since June. It feels amazing to be in the 90's. *Goes to unpack winter clothes...* :D

Its nice that the weather cools down sooner than usual. But here on the other side of the world, it is so hot; much hotter than previous years! I start sweating the moment I step out my door! :main_no:

Ugh, I couldn't handle no AC either! We had to run the central AC and window unit in the gecko room non-stop most of the summer when it felt like 110-115F just to keep the Cresteds alive. I'm hoping to see a thank you card from the electric company. LOL

Ughhh~ I can't stand the heat. I can't wait until it starts cooling down here. Our central AC broke last week and it was a NIGHTMARE. I didn't sleep for almost 3 days because it was almost 100*F in my bedroom.
I'll never take the central air for granted again! <3 lol.
I don't know why I live in FL. ^.~ lol.

i remember when my AC went kaput right in the middle of hot texas summer, it was 106 in the house. i lost a few leos but i lost almost every crestie and gargoyle we had. it hurt so bad. never been able to keep them again. i can't handle losing them again. they (gargoyles) are my most favorite :(

That stinks, Robin. We bought the window unit just for the gecko room for backup. Plus we keep a full gas can on hand for the generator in case we lose power. I'm so paranoid about the heat.

Hi Robin! The temperature here is around 35C (~95F) but the humidity is high. Just 10 minutes outside waiting for a bus, and I'm literally dripping sweat from my hair! I do have a window unit for my geckos, I turn it on at night so they have a temperature difference; otherwise the gecko room will be in the high 80s day and night for months.
