Cornelis is a Dutch name derived from the Roman name Cornelius. the 'se' addition comes from 'sen' which comes from 'zoon', the dutch word for son.

So basically Cornelius' son

Erik yes I am of dutch descent! Obviously you're fron the netherlands so you would know but no one else does! I'm half dutch half italian....and Paul I've been in hiding lol. my long awaited project from a couple years back...so hopefully next season I'll hit my odds...I got a few other little genes in that pool too

Try to avoid hearing it EVER in your life I phased it out asap and when I lived in Northern Ireland for a year I adopted a nice accent right then and there, haha.
