Jerry the Giant

I just got a few new pics of this guy tonight and thought I'd share. He dropped some weight while breeding, but now that he's alone again he's closing in on 90 grams. It was hard to get him to cooperate for measurements, but he looks to be about 9.5 inches to me. Unfortunately he lost the very tip of his tail a while back due to a stuck shed, but I don't think it's very noticeable now. His first offspring should be hatching around Christmas and I'm excited to see how big they'll be since the eggs seem so huge to me and I've never seen hatchling giants before.

Jerry's less than a year old and doesn't look too fat to me by leo standards, so I'm hoping he still has some more growing to do. Unfortunately his girlfriend is laying a lot more frequently than I'd like (every 2 weeks), so she's dropped some weight that I'm trying to get back on her. I didn't want to disturb her for pictures, but they've been separated for a while now, so hopefully she'll stop laying soon. Anyway, enough chatter-here are the pictures.

A very nice big Raptor indeed. My big male is well over 95 grams right now, I love big geckos

He is stunning! I'm not a big fan of (R)Aptors in general, but I like the light coloured ones, like him . . .

I agree Paul-nothing against smaller geckos, but I really like the big ones now that I've had some.

Thanks seraphim, I personally prefer my female's appearance and she is darker than him, but I think it has more to do with pattern than color for me. I like really bold patterns that don't break up as much.

That is a very handsom RAPTOR you have there should make some nice babies!
My biggest 2 are at 100 and 98 one is a raptor the other a tremper I love big geckos too

I love Raptors and Jerry is one of the reason why,lol If only i could find some around me

Giant males are definitely my favorites. They always seem to be the most mellow. I'm sure he'll make some nice babies for you!
