Hey guys

I'm been a little confused about something, what is an Hybino a SHCT? And a Sunglow a SHTCT? So the only thing different is that the Sunglow has Tang?

Thanks

Hybino is an albino with little or no spots.

SHCT is - Super Hypo Carrot Tail. Again, Hypo means no spots.

SHTCT is - Super Hypo Tangerine Carrot Tail

A Sunglow is a SHTCT Albino.

If you ever get confused on morphs you can always look them up on:

Hybino and sunglow are terms used loosely for everything from tangerine albinos up to what they are suppsed to be..... a SHTCTB ALBINO ;)

Yep. And back when the morph names were first created, the actually were "albino strain specific". What that means is:

1.) Sunglow = SHTCTB Tremper Albino
2.) Hybino = SHTCTB Bell Albino or SHTCTB Las Vegas Albino

But like Paul states, today both morph names are used interchangably, with no regard to albino strain. Pretty confusing. :main_yes:

I`m pretty sure Hybino was just the name given to the Bell Strain.

You should have checked around before you posted that reply, Nigel. ;) As a matter of fact, you even see Trempers labeled as Hybino today.

Edit: Oh, and look what I found! :D Notice who made the post, and its date! :main_lipsrsealed:

Paul hit the nail on the head with this statement... I see so many animals listed as sunglows that are basically tangerine albinos with dark spotting on the head and body.... :main_no::main_thumbsdown:

I also agree with Maurice... The two names are interchangable and you will see all strains of albino SHTCTBs listed as either or... The origin of the names were actually coined by the creators of the morph not so much because of the albino strain used...
