For those that know, in addition to reptiles, we've also got some pretty big dogs. Here's some pics of "Ceus" - a Perro de Presa Canario that hails from Barcelona, Spain:

He's been here for a few months now, so we thought it was time for him to do some "work". Btw, that's not me with the Ray Allen sleeve.

Comments welcome...

Great pictures Haroldo!!! Are you training fully, or just working a little with the sleeve? We have been trying to get into Schutzhund with our dogs for years, but have not had the time yet.

I don't think they meant vicious in that way, at least I hope not..

I love molloser's, but they do have that nasty reputation of being "born evil" *rolls eyes*

What do you use the dogs for?

He is quite the looker!

That's a big boy. I like those PCs. They get a bad wrap where I'm from because there was a very bad accident in The Bay Area regarding a couple of PCs. With good training I'm sure they are great to have.

We had a very trajic fatal accident with one here in South Florida. It's a shame & give's these gorgeous dogs a horrible reputation.

Ceus is magnificent! His face looks like a bear cub :)

We're putting together a complete training program on site. Two of our female come from Cabeza Grande (a local kennel) and they were the first one to do a Schutzhund to Schutzhund Presa breeding. We looked for animals that had excellent backgrounds and now it's time for these dogs to work!

After keeping these dogs for the last 6 years or so, I've only seen one dog that was "evil" (i.e. people and dog aggressive), but that was due to poor handling (tossed from home to home; no stability).

We're getting a breeding program together and will be offering fully-trained protection dogs. Look out for www.9to5kennels.com

Thanks Sandy. All our dogs are treated like family, but they earn their keep too! Someone has to patrol the grounds...

You know, the media only picks up on the bit stories with dogs that people think look like pits, are pits, or are a pit mix. It's amazing how so many bite incidents involving family pets like golden retrievers and poodles, but you don't hear them. I know the story well, but 99% of bite incidents are due to bad handling on part of the owner or them simply being irresponsible. They do take a bit of training to ensure you are Alpha, but they are certainly sociable also. We've got a 120# female that will lick my brother's kid to death. Betcha don't see those type of pictures on the news...

Poor handling gives any animal a bad name. Unfortunately many people get their hands on animals they aren't qualified/responsible enough to own...

Gorgeous Harold!!

Thanks Whitney.

I can't wait to see some more pictures and videos Harold! Our dogs come from SUPER Schutzhund lines. Our female's father was the highest holding Rottweiler in the US for awhile...still may be. Orka Vom Hause Enzian. Here are a couple shots of him...the dog LIVES for the sleeve! I have links to videos too. The dog is a Schutzhund machine.
