ending it will cause less stress than letting it die painfully.

Yeah, I absolutely hate to say it, but I have to agree with the last few posts. I can't imagine the pain the little girl is in. This poor baby is clearly in awful shape and I think that trying to save it may be futile and will only prolong its suffering. I'd take her to the vet and have her humanely put to sleep. I don't think there's any way to save the little darling. It's so unfortunate, because it's not her fault at ALL and you said she's feisty, so she has a will to live...

Those are my $.02. If I continue I might cry. :(

Well guys, he passed away this morning. He'd actually been eating pretty well so I decided to give him a chance, but unfortunately I don't think he was able to process the food and get any sort of nutrition out of it. For the couple of days that I had him it was very fulfilling trying to save his life, unfortunately he was just a little too far gone.

Thanks

I'm very sorry for your lose.
It was very kind that you did everything you could and resuce it, so it would've have to die in that horrible place.

Bummer bro... You tried though... Honestly, I would never take in "rescues"... It is just too much of a risk from my healthy colony in my opinion...
