I really wanted to get a savvy. They are sooo coool. But i wasnt sure i would be able to afford and take care of it just quite yet. I will later on though! How is he/she? temper wise? I heard they were pretty good handling, long as they were taken care of and handled to a certain extent. If im wrong tell me, i just wanna know on a first hand experience. p.s. i heard they were the better of all the monitors? temperment wise?

.................His temperment is great as long as you dont force handling on him and everything is on his terms.

He lets me know when interaction with him is ok (when foods around) and when its not ok (when not foods around :D).

That is a great cage... Oak leaves are a great substrate topper... It is even better when it turns into compost... It is nice to see someone taking proper care of their Sav... In the years I have been into reptiles, I cant tell you how many people kept savs in AGAs with no substrate...
