I have a hatchling that came out last nite. Nice lil booger my issue is that it seems the umbilical cord seems to be protruding about an 1/8" maybe alittle less. Will this eventually dry up and fall off? He's got a nice humid hide hes hanging in. Should I put Neosporin on it? It seems to be sealed up ok.

I just had a fattie hatch this way. As long as it's really the umbilical cord and not a abdominal hernia, it should dry up and fall off. Just leave it alone but check when it sheds that it's not getting in the way.
