I think just letting them know you are appreciative is enough. I don't think we really want to turn this website into another 'karma point' place. Usually, that creates more issues than not, and become a popularity contest.

Truth is, we are ALL here to learn and offer our experiences to everyone, at whatever level we can!

Oh my the karma points...uhg... I once ran a forum for people from my summer camp and I had to get rid of the karma points within two weeks because it turned into a brutal popularity contest that resulted in a lot of suspensions and people not talking to each other for years. Karma points are a bad idea. For those that don't know what they are, this is how they work. There's a bar under each member's name in the plus and minus direction. Basically whenever you want you can put points in either direction. If someone is good it goes to the plus, if someone is bad it goes to the minus. Problem with that is people give and take away points for no reason and then things get ugly. From my own experience, karma points start fights and we don't need fights here.
