Introducing my latest addition.. F. Floamus. Found him locally.. What a steal! Only $1!! I'm pretty sure it's a male...

He's extremely friendly and easy to handle, though he seems almost too docile.. :main_huh: I can't believe these guys aren't more common in the pet trade.. So easy to care for!

My only concern.. He's been cold to the touch ever since I got him.. He doesn't seem to have any desire to bask. I've kept his enclosure at around 85 degrees. I know they come from a cooler region in China. There's so little info on these guys, if anyone has any suggestions, please let me know!

The best part by far is the coloration. It's so bizarre! I think we may have a new morph on our hands.. I'll have to prove him out. :main_yes:

And here he is next to the delicup he came in.. It was far too small!

Hope you enjoyed! More pictures to come! :main_laugh:

Wow, I've never seen that before. He looks unreal. Sort of like those little plastic toys that you can get =D

Their care is quite simple...assemble him, and then stick him into a 10 gallon tank. They don't move much, if at all, and he won't need any heat source. They eat almost...well...they eat nothing!

As docile as this species is with humans, I would never, ever house two members of different species together! F. Floamus can get very territorial!
