I've been admiring both of these guys. Which do you guys prefer in terms of temperament, color, etc.?

What's the difference between the two?

Chahoua look AMAZING in person, and I think they are cuter, but Leachies are close second.

I don't have a leachie, but I love my chahoua. What about sarasinorum? I love mine I can handle it, and they aren't as expensive.

I have been looking at chahouas because of the price. Leachies are a bit more expensive. If I find a chahoua at the show I'm going to this weekend I am really thinking about buying one.

Hey I forgot another plus for chahouas is that you can cross them with cresteds.

I am hoping to get BOTH! I like the leachie because of the size, and will be picking up one at the Columbia, SC show in November. I have not personally seen/held a chewie, but heard they are really neat and like to hang out.

Bob where did you get your Rhacodactylus Sarasinorum? How is the handling? Is he "fighty"? And how big do they get?

I got my sarasinorum from Allen Repashy's website. My sarasinorum is fine with handling not to crazy, they are like a more active crested, but they don't jump that much. The only time they can't be handled is at night, but during the day they mine is as easy as a sub-adult crested. Mine is about 10" and adult size. They also eat a lot of food, and are out in the open walking around even during the day.

I don't have a leachie, but I have a chewie, and I LOVELOVELOVE my chewie!
They CAN get territorial right around puberty (mine has), but once out of their enclosure, they return to being the typical awesome gecko they are known for being.

Yeah, you can, but I wouldn't do it.

I much prefer my rhacs to be species pure, kthnx.

I have taken care of both, and like them both very much. But, if I were to choose between the 2 I would get a Chahoua. They are very easy to handle, smaller in size, and their poops are smaller and less messy (I guess is the right word...lol). And, they are absolutely beautiful!
